For budding families that need educational content on demand, Vooks is a video book service that brings children’s stories to life. Vooks ushers in a new generation of learning content that teachers, parents, and young children will love.
The Problem & Brief
With the growing prevalence of online video content, children ages 5–10 need a learning platform that focuses on teaching them to read and delivers value to early learners. In collaboration with the Creative Director, produce marketing materials and create social content strategies that actively engage the Vooks social media audience while showcasing newly featured content from the Vooks app.

Research Methodology
Our guiding question was, “What does social media content look like for parents and young children?” To answer this question, we employed qualitative data methods. We conducted market & competitor research, primarily looking at family content creators and television networks geared towards children (ex: PBS and Cartoon Network, etc.) to understand the landscape of content for parents and young children online.
Key Insights
-
“It’s a fantastic way to provide my kids with screen time all whilst being educational and improving their knowledge and vocabulary!”
-
“I love the Vooks app. My kids spend hours reading books.”
-
“Vooks is such an easy resource to share with my students as well as my own children.”
The Outcome
Over a three-month period, we generated new social content ideas for the marketing and communications team, along with fresh designs to implement across Vooks' social media channels.
